August 1967 - Suburban Marine and Sporting Goods of Anchorage, AK promoted "Once in Your Lifetime - Shoot The Yukon" adventure.
They offered Amphicars for rental, purchase, or rental purchase basis for a 10 day 460 mile trip down the Yukon River from Whitehorse, YT to Dawson City, YT.
Four Amphicars participated in the event celebrating the 1967 Alaska / Canada Centennial.
I have one of these cars, purchased from the original owners Ed and Dolores Borrecco in 1990. Their daughter Maggie provided me with much of what you see.
As near as I can tell, not much has been published about this event.
