1147 rebuilt Triumph Spitfire
long-block.

This motor is ready to drop into your car after you install your Amphi
intake and exhaust manifold, carb, fuel pump, distributor, spark plugs,
generator, thermostat and housing, flywheel, water pump and fan. It is
completely painted in black with the correct color valve cover. New Amphicar
mount plate installed, rubber motor mounts not included.

-block and head magnifluxed, guarantee no cracks.
-new freeze plugs
-new valve guides and rocker shaft. The rocker arms, push rods, and valves
all were with-in the factory specs, so they were not replaced. The valves
were ground with the "3 degree sealing surface" to insure maximum life.
-all new gaskets and seals
-new Enzed pistons, rings, wrist pins and wrist pin bearings , .030
-new (2) thrust washers, oversized
-new connecting rod big end bearings and crank bearings, .020
-new timing chain, tensioner, and cam gear
-new head studs where appropriate (to match the slightly different lengths
in an original Amphi motor)

You will find that the cost of the machining and the new parts needed to
re-build an amphi motor correctly will come very close to the price of this
motor, but this is guranteed to be built correctly by an experienced English
engine rebuilder (I have rebuilt many past Triumph motors with perfect
success). This motor is guaranteed for 1 year and is ready to go.
